This Privacy Policy explains how VisualCopy AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use the VisualCopy AI – Ad Text Assistant mobile application (the “App”).

Data Collected
- Personal info: email (account & support)
- Financial info: payment intent details via Stripe (we don’t store full card data)
- App activity & diagnostics: feature usage, logs, crash reports
- User content: images you upload; AI-generated text
- Device info: model, OS version
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is shared only with service providers acting as processors to operate the App (e.g., hosting, analytics, payments, AI inference).
No third-party advertising

1. Information We Collect
a) Personal Information
- Email address (account creation, authentication, support)
- Payment information processed securely by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
b) Usage & Diagnostics
- App interactions (e.g., feature usage, regenerate events), session data, device model, OS version
- Crash and performance logs (e.g., via Firebase services) to improve reliability
c) Uploaded Content
- Images you upload for AI analysis and ad-copy generation core feature
- AI-generated outputs (primary text, headline, description). Stored in your account if needed for app functionality (e.g., history, edit/share).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the App’s core functionality (image analysis → ad text generation)
- Enable features such as history, copy regeneration, and sharing
- Process payments and manage subscriptions (via Stripe)
- Communicate about updates, support, and security issues
- Monitor usage for analytics, performance, and fraud prevention
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
3. Third-Party Services (Processors)
We use trusted providers to run the App. They process data on our behalf under data-processing terms:
- Firebase (Authentication, Storage, Analytics) — Privacy
- Stripe (Payments) — Privacy
- OpenAI API (AI text generation) — Privacy
- SendGrid / Resend (email delivery) — SendGrid Privacy / Resend Privacy
Where supported, we configure providers so your content is not used to train their models. We do not allow providers to use your information for their independent advertising.
5. Data Storage & Retention
- Data is stored in Firebase (Firestore/Cloud Storage). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- User content (uploads & generated text) is retained as needed to provide features (e.g., history) and until you delete it or delete your account.
- Diagnostics (logs/crashes) are retained for a limited period to improve stability and security.
- Payment records are retained as required by law and accounting rules.
6. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption, access controls, and regular reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. App Permissions
- Photos/Media/Files — to select and upload images for AI analysis required for core feature
- Camera (if used) — to capture images directly in-app (optional alternative to gallery)
- Network Access — to connect to our servers and third-party processors
You can manage permissions in your device settings. Denying required permissions may limit functionality.
8. Your Rights & Choices
- Access/Update: Request a copy of your data or corrections to inaccurate information.
- Delete Content/Account: You can request deletion of uploaded images, generated text, and/or your account. See contact below.
- Consent: Where consent is used (e.g., email updates), you may withdraw consent at any time.
- Regional Rights: Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can delete it.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you via the App or email.
